Very good post. I've found your blog via Bing and I'm really glad about the information you provide in your articles. Btw your sites layout is really messed up on the Chrome browser. Would be really great if you could fix that. Anyhow keep up the good work!

Great articles. There?s a lot of nice rmationhere, though I did want to let you know something, I'm running Redhat with the up-to-date beta of Firefox, and the design of your site is kind of wonky for me. I can read the articles, but the navigation doesn?t function so well.

I was looking for some natural alternatives to leflunomide (this is to treat rheumatoid arthritis) and found this article. The med is really good, but I prefer the natural way. The idea with wild yams and their anti-inflammatory properties is interesting. Thanks!

You've pretty well covered the full benefits of wild yam. Well done.
Except after 26 years of Naturopathy we prefer to work with the diet rather than use herbs sometimes 'forever'.
The dietary fish/fish oils present a much more inclusive & 'natural' tool than herbs alone can offer.
Yes, we use herbs too but only to weaken the deeper processes of DNA caused influences & as an aid to detoxification.
We suggest the greatest longterm benefit we can help folk with too is indeed allowing the processes of inflammation to heal & it is to the BCAA's & immunoglobulins found in many whey proteins that substantially boost the immune system thus enabling long term antiinflammatory benefit to ensue.

Keep up the great work on herbal stuff 'cos it all is part of the 'mix'.

Warmly Glen F

I have personally used wild yams during my menopause for hot flashes and to balance out my body. I can tell you they work but not just the wild yams. I think the body requires many different nutrients and what they do to our food these days takes out most of the good stuff (nutrients). As well as using wild yams you should also look into soy and whey, they will also help with the symptoms of menopause.
